CFO, DIRECTOR

Carl E. Widell, Jr. has over 30 years experience in high-tech, start-up companies, including a geothermal energy company, two software development companies and a telecommunications company operating in African Markets. His software companies created the first PC based airline reservations system, and the other one was a prerunner in the epidemiology software systems industry.

Since February 2003 Mr. Widell has served as the CFO of Network Technologies International, Inc. (NTI). His extensive financial backgroundand previous experience as CFO of other corporations has been an asset to the growth and development of NTI. In May of 2003 Mr. Widell was appointed to the board of Directors of NTI and has assisted in the growth of the corporation .

Over the past three years, Mr. Widell has founded and developed Ventel Telecommunications, Inc. His goal to establish an effective American technology company in a developing African market has proved successful. Ventel has recently been awarded a voice over IP license and has partnered with NTI, putting it in an excellent position to deliver high quality voice and internet services to a developing third world market. Mr. Widell has developed two software companies. The first, in partnership with another firm, developed the first PC based airline reservation system for America West Airlines. At the time, his company established the largest LAN in the US, and created a system which was widely emulated within the industry. In another software venture, Mr. Widell purchased a software company specializing in data storage and processing for medical epidemiology. Using hospital records on patients, the software assisted physicians in developing new medical procedures. Once approved by the American Hospital Association, the software also assisted hospitals in their accreditation. This company went public in the over the counter market and Mr. Widell sold his shares at that time.

Mr. Widell has served as a department head in the J. H. Wiggins Company, an internationally renowned engineering firm, known for its modeling of earthquake risk. In this capacity, he headed a team of Ph.D.'s who had created a model of all the earthquakes in California. Using this model, he was able to predict maximum probable loss for the AIG group of companies in California. Mr. Widell also played a role in convincing Standard & Poors to include natural hazard risk in its evaluation of Florida mortgage bond portfolios.

Mr. Widell also served as controller to an individual who owned 2000 apartment units, an equipment leasing company, several shopping centers, and the Dana Point Marina, in Southern California. His role was to keep the accounting records and to prepare the tax returns for over 22 entities. At age 28, Mr. Widell joined Insco Insurance Services, a surety bond company in California. He rose within three years to the position of Treasurer, and assisted this general agency in becoming a licensed insurance company. In this capacity, he handled insurance audits from the California Department of Insurance and company audits from Peat Marwick. Mr. Widell served five years in the Marine Corps. He was trained as an infantry officer then went to flight school and served a year in Vietnam flying A6 Intruders. For 149 combat missions he was awarded the Air Medal with nine oak leaf clusters.

Mr. Widell attended Princeton University where he majored in the development of third world countries under the auspices of the History Department. He graduated cum laude.
